SHILLONG: The beneficiaries of Megha Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) have hailed the implementation of the scheme which has benefitted hundreds in the State.
The beneficiaries said that MHIS has been a blessing for many since its implementation. “It is good to see that almost all medical institutions of the State are covered by the scheme,” the beneficiaries said.
The beneficiaries, however, suggested that more prominent hospitals should be included in the list of empanelled hospitals as many patients inflicted with life threatening diseases are referred to hospitals outside the State.
