BJP’s Mairang mandal president quits party

NONGSTOIN: President of the BJP’s Mairang Mandal, Councellor Sing Wahlang, resigned from the party along with other members of the mandal.Wahlang said differences with the party on the “cow slaughter ban” issue prompted him to quit.
 He added it was too early to decide on a new party.
Vice president of the mandal, Lurshai Sun, general secretaries Boy Ryntathiang and Belljohn R.Kharjana and treasurer Nangpynjanai Hujon among others also called it quits.
