SHILLONG: A woman lodged a complaint that in the year 2016, Tran Thabah raped her twenty-two-year old mentally unstable daughter at a village under Mairang and also threatened her with dire consequences.

In another incident, a woman lodged a complaint that on June 21 circa 10 am, one unidentified person attempted to rape her seven-year-old daughter at their village in East Jaintia Hills.
