First Div football: Riatsamthiah rally to hold Mawlai

SHILLONG: A dogged Riatsamthiah rallied to hold Mawlai 2-2 in a First Division football match organised by SSA in Polo on Wednesday.

While Mawlai opened the scoring with a 29^th minute goal by Michealson M Umlong, Teibor Dhar doubled the lead with a 50^th minute strike. Riatsamthiah scored its first goal two minutes later (52^nd) when Tynshain Marboh guided one to the back of the net.

Marboh scored his brace in the 65^th minute as Riatsamthiah came back from two goals down to hold Mawlai.

On Thursday Nongrim Hills will play Laban at 4.15 pm.
