‘Parents play a key role in fight against drugs’

Nongpoh: As part of the observation of the International Day against drugs abuse and illicit trafficking, the office of the District Social Welfare, Ri Bhoi District organised a one-day awareness programme at Nongpoh. Deputy Commissioner, C.P Gotmare said that the programme is meant for creating awareness on the ill-effects of drugs abuse. He said that parents plays an important role in guiding and developing their children and asked them to listen to their children as it is the first step to help them have a healthy life.
