SHILLONG: Though majority of State political parties are yet to spell out their plan for the presidential polls scheduled for July 17, UDP leader Donkupar Roy on Sunday hinted that the party would go by the winner.
Without mentioning the name of Ram Nath Kovind, the NDA nominee, Roy said, “We will go by the winner and you know who is going to be the winner.”
Kovind was projected as the likely winner considering the vote share that he would secure compared to his UPA counterpart.
The UDP leader said the party will meet soon to take a final decision on the matter.
