SHILLONG: The meeting between the State Government and the 13 pressure groups, which will be held at the Secretariat on Wednesday, will focus on the contentious issues of railways and influx and the mechanisms to tackle such issues.
The KSU on Monday threatened to walk out of the meeting if the discussion was not in its favour to stall the railway project at Byrnihat.
The organisation is demanding entry and exit points to ensure that illegal immigration is tackled.
The Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC), on the other hand, demanded that the State Government should implement Inner Line Permit.
