SHILLONG: The distribution of oil and gas in Meghalaya and elsewhere in the North East will be affected following the decision of Assam Petroleum Mazdoor Union to go ahead with an indefinite strike from July 27.
The union said strike was due to the non- fulfilment of certain decisions by oil companies.
The union said that it will also boycott loading and unloading of petroleum products (oil and gas) throughout the North East during the period.
