EKH villagers threaten protest over power cut

SHILLONG: The residents of three villages falling under Mawryngkneng constituency in East Khasi Hills, have threatened to storm into the Secretariat if the MeECL does not solve power crisis problem before August 4.
The locals of Pepbah, Mawlyngad and Mawiong Diengpasoh are living in the dark for the last two months.
MDC of Sohryngkham Pyniaid Sing Syiem said that they have served the MeECL deadline till August 4, as the villages have been without electricity for the last two months.
