Patna: Taking serious note of poor results in matriculation and intermediate examinations conducted by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) this year, state government today declared that all education officers, principals and teachers responsible for it would be penalised.
A decision to that effect was taken in a review meeting of the state education department chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Talking to newspersons, Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh said the education officers, principals and teachers would be identified for the poor result in the matriculation and intermediate examinations.
He said several schools had registered zero pass percentage in either of the examinations this year. (UNI)
