Financial aid to the blind

SHILLONG: Sanbor Shullai-MLA and members of MCIC on extended financial support of Rs 30,000 to Hitler Khongphai and Myson Sunn, who are visually impaired students of Jyoti Sroat Bethany Society in presence of principal Bertha Dkhar.
Khongphai and Sunn were selected from Meghalaya to undergo vocational training at Football Academy for the blind at Kochi, Kerela which will begin in September.
The training programme will be inaugurated and conducted by Ulrich Pfisterer, coach of German Blind Football Team.
