Vehicular Emission Testing
Police have informed that local taxis/auto rickshaws in East Khasi Hills are required to undergo Vehicular Emission Testing (Pollution) at Parking Lot Polo by the Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board as the Pollution certificate will be required for obtaining stickers from the office of the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills. The dates and timings are August 21-August 25 from 11 am to 4pm, and August 28-August 31 from 11 am to 4pm.
Pre-Admission Test
The pre-admission test under the Chief Minister Career Guidance & Counselling Programme will be conducted on August 26 at 10am. The Deputy Commissioner, West Khasi Hills, has asked candidates to collect their admit cards from the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Development Branch) from August 17 during office hours. Mairang candidates have been asked to collect admit cards from the office of the SDO (Civil), Mairang Civil Sub-Division, Mairang.

Blood Camp
Social Work Committee, NSS and Red Ribbon Club of Shillong Commerce College in Collaboration with Regional Blood Bank, Shillong will organise a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on August 19 at 9:00 A.M. in the college premises. An Awareness talk on the positive aspects and myths associated with Voluntary Blood Donation will be given.
