TURA: The pathetic condition of BSNL mobile network services in Nongalbibra region of South Garo Hills has prompted the local regional unit of the Garo Students’ Union (GSU) to take up the matter with the Chief Minister, Dr Mukul Sangma.

In its letter addressed to Chief Minister, the union informed that although there are a large  number of mobile towers including that of the BSNL in the region, but service being rendered continues to be pathetic in places like Nongalbibra, Rongkandi, Jadigittim and Rongsa Awe (Mingkul).

Stating that people from the region were suffering due to the poor network conditions the union has urged the Chief Minister to personally look into the matter.
