A dog `joins’ HYC protestors

SHILLONG:  The attention of the HYC members from Nongstoin Circle who were undertaking protest march to Shillong, was drawn by a dog that had followed them all the way to Shillong from Mawngap. The dog even diligently sat along with the protesting HYC members at the Additional Secretariat parking lot in the city.

 

To this, Donboklang Kharlyngdoh, HYC vice president, said, “Even an animal (dog) apparently has some understanding of the demands of our organization, you (elected representatives) are leaders and not dogs.”
