Man held for threatening former CM Ibobi

Imphal:  A man was arrested by Manipur Police for threatening former Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh in a social networking site. Porompat Police official informed that Cyber Crime Unit, Imphal East investigated into a case of posting objectionable status on Facebook stating to kill O Ibobi Singh.
Imphal East conducted an operation last afternoon at around 3.30 pm to nab the suspect. The man identified as Bobsu Meikam, of Soibam Leikai, Khanglabung Leirak, Imphal East was nabbed from his residence. A laptop and a mobile phone were recovered from him. Police was investigating into the matter. (UNI)
