Theft cases
Ramesh Kumar lodged a complaint that on August 29, he found that two RSU valued around Rs. 40,000- were missing from Reliance Telecom tower at Happy Valley, Shillong.
Suresa Rai lodged a complaint that on August 29 around 2.45 pm, Security Guard of MUDA one Joseph Simon Kharpuri caught red-handed while he was attempting to commit theft by breaking the window panel of the complainant’s car (ML-05Q-0217) at MUDA parking lot, Police Bazar, Shillong.
On the night of August 25, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08B-4443) belonging to Bappa Seal Sharma from Lower Babupara, Tura.
On August 22 around 9 am, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-14-0484) belonging to Kalnang Marak from Garobadha market in West Garo Hills.

Accident
On August 29 around 4.30 pm, one Tata Sumo vehicle knocked down one Lejister Warlarpih (17) at Laitlyngkot. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
