New Shillong Township going slow & steady

SHILLONG: The New Shillong Township (NST) Project that aims to decongest the city is moving in a slow and steady pace.
Urban Affairs Minister Ronnie V Lyngdoh said the government would take up roads and other infrastructure projects in the area.
“We recently had a meeting on the matter and we have asked all departments to work in coordination and not isolation,” he said.
Lyngdoh said Chief Minister Mukul Sangma, in the last meeting, had told PWD to ensure that there is enough space for (Contd on P-11)
