SHILLONG: Dr. Carl O. Rangad, Vice Chairman (operations) at the North East Slow Food Agrobiodiversity Society (NESFAS) and former Director of Hortuiculture, Government of Meghalaya, has become the first representative from the North East to be appointed as an advisor to the Agro Ecology Fund (AEF).
AEF is a multi-donor charitable organisation based in Washington, which supports agroecological practices and policies in different nations.
With a history of working at the state level, Rangad is well-known among his colleagues for his efforts in promoting agroecological techniques on composting.
