Hamlet Dohling joins PDF with supporters

SHILLONG:  Former leaders and supporters of United Democratic Party (UDP), Mylliem circle, led by Hamlet Dohling joined People’s Democratic Front (PDF) on Friday at Umlyngka Community hall.

Addressing the people at the packed hall, he urged the people to vote for him to make way for change and development in the constituency of Mylliem.

He recalled that he had nurtured the desire to contest for elections since the year 2012. His supporters applauded as a sign of approval when he asked them whether they would take him to victory in the Assembly elections 2018.

President of PDF, Ivanlumlang Marbaniang lashed out at critics of the party. He said, “PDF will get more people in the coming months. I am engaged in building the house (PDF) and I have no time to respond to critics.”

“PDF will stand alone before the elections and after the elections,” he said
