7 MLAs to meet Shah on Sep 28

SHILLONG: As many as seven MLAs from different political parties will meet BJP national president Amit Shah during his visit to the city on September 28.
BJP state president Shibun Lyngdoh said the seven MLAs would decide whether to join the party after meeting Shah.
Lyngdoh said the party would arrange appointment of more MLAs who are willing to meet Shah.
During his day-long visit, Shah will meet party workers and intellectuals from the city and even religious leaders.
Two independent MLAs, Justine Dkhar and Robinus Syngkon, have already vowed to join the saffron party after the duo met Shah in New Delhi recently.
