Miscreants vandalise Emergency Call Booth

SHILLONG: On the night of September 10, miscreants vandalised the Emergency Call Booth at Diengpasoh, Shillong By-pass and stole GSM card, solar charger battery and SIM card provided by Aircel total valued around Rs. 50,000. The miscreants have not spared even Emergency Call Booth and the equipment which could be useful in cases of accidents to contact authorities.
The officials of the implementing agency which is maintaining the road has filed an FIR.
