GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Tuesday directed the Deputy Commissioner of Goalpara to immediately release ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh each to ten persons who were killed in the boat tragedy at Sabang River at Joriabeel in Goalpara on Sunday.
Sonowal also directed the DC to take measures for safety of the boat passengers of the area.
