Concern over delay in scheme work order

SHILLONG: Supporters of HS Shylla, the PDF member of district council, convened a meeting on Saturday and expressed concern over the delay in getting the work order for the special schemes from the Special Assistance of Central Plan Schemes 2015-16.
There are over 108 pending schemes to the tune of Rs 2 crore which he has applied from the month of March.
In this connection, the chairman of the sub-committee, Hillarius Warbah, secretary Esmond Kharkongor and vice chairman G.L. Nongbri will meet KHADC chief executive member P.N.Syiem October 3.
