SHILLONG: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju inaugurated the renovated Assam Rifles Museum, Laitkor during his two day visit from Saturday.
He also visited various locations inside DG, headquarters.In the evening he attended Dussehra Barakhana organised by Assam Rifles.
The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs spent time interacting with the troops, enquiring about their well being and appreciating their work.
Accompanied by Director General Assam Rifles Lt Gen S. Chauhan, and Major General R K Gupta, ADGAR, Rijiju, during his visit on Sunday, laid a wreath at the War Memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs.
