Union minister to inaugurate exhibition

SHILLONG: Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal will inaugurate a five-day mega exhibition cum seminar on ‘March of Parliamentary Democracy and the Constitution of India’ at All Saints Hall at 11 am on Wednesday.
The exhibition is being organised on behalf of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and is executed and mounted by Oil India Limited and the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP).
The programme format consists of an exhibition on the story of parliamentary democracy and the Constitution of India and a cultural programme on the same theme.
The nodal agency for creation of content and design is DAVP. Entry is free for all. Several other events, including art competition, quiz competition and seminar, are lined up over the next five days.
The exhibition will showcase central government schemes and achievements in addition to the story on parliamentary democracy predominantly using digital content. The exhibition will end on October 8.
