SHILLONG: National People’s Party (NPP) has formed the Pynursla block committee of the party with Emlynestone Khongsti as president, Holiwell Khongstid as working president and Stevenson Kshiar as general secretary.
Thilda Marbaniang was elected president of the women’s wing and Bisborn Rangjem as president of NPP Pynursla Youth Wing. Banangsan Tynsong was elected vice president of state youth NPP in charge of Khasi Hills.
The confirmation of block members was done by NPP national president and Tura MP, Conrad Sangma at Phlangsohshan, Pynursla in which the flag of NPP with ‘book’ as the symbol was hoisted on the occasion.
The NPP block office at Pynursla was also inaugurated by Sangma on the day.
Salmanpara Youth wing Office bearers for the NPP Block Youth in Salmanpara constituency were elected recently.
Panang Goera D Sangma is the new adviser, Techak Ch Marak president and Pollend D Sangma working president.
The vice presidents are Happy R Marak, Silgrak P Marak and Jentil Ch Marak. Other members like treasurer, publicity secretary were also named.
