National wushu championship Bey wins against Soren

Shillong, Oct 11: Probison Bey of Meghalaya defeated Lakshya Soren of Jharkhand in the below 60kg category of the sanshou (preliminary) bout, on the second day of the Assam Rifles 26th Senior National Wushu Championship at Assam Rifles Sports Complex in Laitkor on Wednesday.
However, Bey’s team mate Alex Basaiawmoit lost to Mukesh Choudhery of Rajasthan in the below 70kg category.
Two members of Assam Rifles, Lalhnehzawa (below 60kg) and Laltlanhlua (below 80kg) also won their preliminary bouts.
