One held with ammunition at JH border

SHILLONG: Acting on a tip-off about existence of illegal arms in a village called Nongbareh Rim, Amlarem police recovered a cache of arms and ammunition and arrested one person in this connection on Friday.
A team of policemen led by SDPO Amlarem, Jason Marom, conducted a raid at the village which is located close to Indo-Bangladesh border and seized one muzzle loading single barrel rifle, 41 live ammunition and one container of gun powder.
