Shillong: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong, remembered Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary on Sunday.
The institute organised Shradhanjali to pay tribute to the Missile Man of India and remember his legacy, his ideas and dreams for India’s future. The students of IIM created a mosaic of Kalam.
The institute continues to treasure its affiliation with Kalam, a union fostered and made strong by enlightening guest lectures and invaluable counsel.
Extending gratitude to soldiers, the students and the faculty of IIM wrote postcards to the armed forces, thanking them for their service.
These postcards were presented to the army men posted at Assam Rifles in Shillong.
