NITI Aayog plans green firms in state

SHILLONG: NITI Aayog member VK Saraswat on Saturday said the think tank was planning to promote eco-friendly industries in Meghalaya.
Speaking to media persons, Saraswat said eco-friendly industries would make sure that the strength of the region and capabilities of the people are harnessed.
“All plans and policies will be formulated keeping this in mind,” he said.
