Tlang hattrick fashions Lajong win

SHILLONG: A hat-trick by Redeem Tlang and a double strike by foreign recruit Aiman Al Hargri, helped Shillong Lajong FC inflict a convincing 7-1 defeat on Shillong United FC 7-1 in the second leg encounter of the Officer’s Choice Blue Shillong Premier League 2017 organised by Shillong Sports Association at the SSA Stadium in Polo here on Monday evening.

Tlang scored his goals in the 31st, 55th and 61st minutes while Hargri found the net in the 51st and 53rd minutes.

Earlier, Samuel Lalmuanpuia opened the floodgates for Lajong with the opening strike in the 26th minute.

The lone goal for Shillong United was scored off a penalty by Donborlang Nongkynrih in the 35th minute.

Shaiborlang Kharpran rubbed more salt on the opponents with a strike in injury time (90+2minutes).

Boys Sports will take on Rangdajied United in the next match on Tuesday.
