Street plays held under ‘Connecting to Serve’ drive

SHILLONG: The District Legal Service Authority under the National Legal Services Authority programme conducted various activities under the campaign ” Connecting to Serve” from November 9 to 11 across the district. An awareness programme and street play on Right to Education (RTE) and domestic violence was organised at Police Bazar by students of Law department, NEHU. More street plays was also organised by Legal aid counsels and lawyers of Shillong Bar Association while the students and PLVs of Lady Keane College organised a street play on domestic violence.
