SHILLONG: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold booth sammelan in East and West Jaintia Hills at Jrisalein ground in Jowai on Monday.
Marki Mulieh, co-convener of the committee, said in a press statement that 330 polling booths (units) have been formed in the constituencies of the two districts.
Mulieh added that preparations for the programme are underway and 4,000-5,000 party workers are expected to come. Party functionaries from Delhi, ministers from Manipur and Assam and other BJP members in the state will participate.
