TURA: The new office bearers of the Post Graduate Students’ Union (PGSU) for the year 2017-18, were recently elected at a meeting held at North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Tura Campus in Chasingre.
During the meeting Ardystar G Momin was elected as president, Witseng Ch Marak as general secretary, Ayacko Salchu B Marak as literary and magazine secretary, Oliver D Sangma as Games and Sports secretary, Liuner A Sangma as Socio Cultural secretary, Indranuj Tamuli Boys’ Hostel secretary and Sonika Gogoi as Girls’ Hostel secretary.
Five other members were elected through nomination which includes Antusbirth D Sangma as vice president, Selvenush Silkam R Sangma as assistant general secretary, Helbird R Sangma as joint secretary, Deisukijai Langstang as Debate and Symposium secretary and Bridesa N Sangma as Finance secretary.
