BJP alleges poor implementation of Mudra, Jan Dhan yojaya in Meghalaya

SHILLONG:  BJP Mahila Morcha National General Secretary, Pooja Mishra has blamed the Meghalaya Government for poor implementation of Central Government schemes like Mudra and Jan Dhan yojana in the state.

Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday during her five-day visit to Meghalaya, Pooja Mishra said that banks in Meghalaya were asking  people to deposit Rs  500, 1000 and Rs  2000  to  open their   jan dhan accounts which is not the case  in other parts of the country

“There is   no ujala scheme, no maternity leaves, no gas connection and all rubbish things are going on here,” she said

She claimed that BJP is making its presence felt in Meghalaya and now people know who is Narendra Modi and what is the symbol  of the party

Giving the credit for some good roads in Meghalaya to three years rule of BJP Government in the country,  she  said that youth in Meghalaya wanted change and the change would definitely come to Meghalaya.

When asked why the party leaders are criticising the state’s underdevelopment now and were mump on it for years, she said that BJP has set an example   f governance for the country  and others should follow it.

“We come here as it is like an examination for us and we have to perform,” she said.
