UDP leader quits in WJH

JOWAI: Lakhon Dkhar of Khliehtyrshi village, who was defeated by a low margin in the 2014 MDC election, has quit UDP along with his supporters.
The decision was taken in a meeting on November 20.
 According to UDP Election Committee secretary, Dkhar quit the party along with Rajesh Sana, Ditta Phawa and hundreds of his supporters.
 He is yet to decided to join a new party but sources informed that he might join the NPP to support its candidate Wailad Shylla from Jowai Constituency.
