Workshop
A one-week workshop on learning and reading of Assamese language will be organsied from December 9 to December 16 at Sankardev Cultural Centre library.A five members team of linguistic expert will come from Guwahati to take part in the event.

Radha Raman Sangh, Shillong will celebrate the 103rd birthday celebration of Prabhupad 108 Radha Raman Goswami on December 3 at Rilbong High School, Shillong.
Celebration
Constitution day was observed at a function held in Ampati Mini Stadium on Saturday. It was organised by the district administration and was attended by district heads, citizens and government officials. Prior to the celebration a Run for National Integration was also held.

parliament
Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangatha, Shillong in association with Metallica-Sargam Sports and Cultural Club, Shillong organised a village level neighbourhood youth parliament on November 23 at Anup Chand Hindi Secondary school.
Past pupils’ meet
The first BBS Past Pupils meet was held on Saturday in the college premises.T he meet was addressed by the Principal and Vice Principal of the college where an executive committee of BBS College Past Pupil’s Association was formed. The president is Yemu Poudel, vice-president Kesari Chettri, general secy Gladstarwell Phanwanjah among others.
Valedictory function
The Central Puja Committee, Meghalaya will hold its Valedictory function 2017 on Sunday at 4 pm at Bangiya Sahitya Parisad Auditorium, Jail Road. It will also distribute prizes of the competition organised during the Durga Puja Celebration.
