HSPDP to review nomination for Mawryngkneng seat

SHILLONG: The State Election Committee of HSPDP stated that the committee will review the nomination  for  Mawryngkneng constituency after getting complaints against the candidate Blatsbor Kharpran.

In a statement issued here, Nolip Lyngdoh, secretary of the state election commission of the HSPDP stated that he had received complaints against Kharpran from the party workers of the constituency which prompted the decision to review nomination for the seat.

Featured in the second list of the HSPDP lists, Kharpran, retired from the Meghalaya Rural Bank as a branch manager and was a former member of Khasi Students’ Union, Sohryngkham unit.
