NONGSTOIN: A woman was found hanging in her residence at Seinduli in West Khasi Hills on Wednesday night.
Mawshynrut police had conducted an inquiry based on information from the headman of Seinduli and found that Diliancy Nongphud had hanged herself in her house. She was found hanging around 8.30pm by her husband and his brother, who returned home from work.
Later, the body was shifted to Nongstoin CHC for post-mortem.
