Modi to open Shillong-Tura road

SHILLONG: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate Shillong-Nongstoin-Tura road to the nation when he visits the city on December 16.
The state BJP has said the Prime Minister is expected to reach Shillong at 1 pm and he will directly go to the State Convention Centre. He will inaugurate the road from the centre. Modi will then address a rally at Polo Grounds.
Also, he may personally inaugurate the new BJP office or through video conferencing from Polo.
