Conference on human trafficking on Dec 29

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Police is organising the State Level Conference on Human Trafficking on December 29 in the Office of the Director General of Police, Conference Hall from 10:30 am to 4pm which will involve all field officers of different ranks.
The objective of the conference is to heighten awareness and sensitivity of Police personnel on Human Trafficking in reference to commercial sexual exploitation, forced labour, forced marriage and other types of trafficking and to obtain an organised crime perspective to tackle and investigate cases effectively relating to human trafficking.
