Assam man drowns in WKH

NONGSTOIN: A man from Assam was drowned at Mawkhrang village under Aradonga Police Outpost, West Khasi Hills on December 23.
The deceased was identified as Ajay Chetia, a staff of lnsight company pvt Ltd., Guwahati.
Chetia was at Mawkhrang for a picnic with friends, when the incident happened.
Around 3 pm, he went for a swim, however, couldn’t handle the current and drowned.
Formalities have been observed and the body was handed over to the relatives.
