JOWAI: A 24-year-old man was arrested for attacking his mother with a machete in West Jaintia Hills on Saturday.
Biangmi Lapasam of Thangrain village was held by Nartiang Police for hitting his mother, Yoris Lapasam (44).
The mother was rushed to Ialong Civil Hospital where her condition is said to be steady.
