Snag forces Air India fight to emergency landing

GUWAHATI:  An Air India flight travelling from Guwahati airport to Lilabari Airport in Lakhimpur in Assam with 47 passengers on board on Wednesday  had to abort landing at Lilabari after the pilot had detected a technical snag midair and came back to Guwahati to make an emergency landing. No person was injured nor any damaged occurred, a source here said. The plane had to circle over Guwahati airport for a long time burn fuel before making a safe emergency landing.
