TURA: Residents of Bolkrokgre village under Rajasimla in North Garo Hills district have expressed resentment over the non-issuance of EPIC even after they had been photographed for the purpose by the concerned department on November 1, 2017.
In their complaint to the Deputy Commissioner, the villagers claimed they were informed by the Electoral Registration Officer, P.K Boro that they would not be issued EPIC cards as the current publication is due to be out soon.
The villagers have sought the DC’s intervention in the matter and requested him to take immediate action.
