Regulatory Audit and Verification held in WGH

TURA: In view of the upcoming elections, a Regulatory Audit and Verification and in depth study and analysis of election related activities such as electoral rolls, polling stations, SVEEP activities, EVM, VVPAT storage, training of BLOs amongst others was conducted by a team of Election Commission officials in West Garo Hills.

During the programme, random checking was also conducted on EVM warehouse, log book, register, Photo Electoral Rolls, disposed Forms 6, 7, 8 and 8A as well as SVEEP activities in the district.

Further, the officials met members of Political leaders and representatives at DRDA Multi Facility Centre where they were informed about the Conduct of FLC of EVM and VVPATs by BEL Engineers and sealing of EVM warehouse including the inspection of its surroundings.

Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of the district, Ram Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Electoral Registration Officer, S B Marak and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers concerned were also present during the Regulatory Audit.
