After Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, the Bollywood hit that featured Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, a regional film is dealing with the subject of sanitation to make the central government’s mission inclusive.
Ajanite Mone Mone, an Assamese full-length feature film, revolves around the central theme of sanitation. It aims to strengthen the Swachh Bharat Mission movement by creating awareness among the masses.
In a press statement issued recently, Director Upakul Bordoloi said, “It is not a documentary, it’s a full length feature film that focuses on Swachata Abhiyan.”
Renowned Assamese actors like Sunita Kausik, Raag Oinitom, Baharul Islam has acted in the movie. Zubeen Garg has lent his voice for one of the songs. The film is slated to release on March 9 in 45 theatres across Assam. He also requested everyone to watch the film.
The teaser, trailer and music of the film were released recently in Guwahati. It is produced by Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin).
Hrishikesh Goswami, Media Advisor to Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, released the teaser, trailer poster and music of the film at Madhavadev International Auditorium, Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakhetra, Guwahati.

In the Bollywood movie, the story is about a woman who leaves her husband’s house after she discovers that there is no toilet.
