SHILLONG: Mawryngkneng MLA who contested the last election as independent candidate has been named as Congress candidate this year but the sitting MLA till date has not resigned from the post
An official from the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly said that David Nongrum might be disqualified if any one made a complaint against him since his name has appeared as the Congress candidate but till date he had not resigned as the MLA even though he was an independent candidate.
