Governor to flag off Martyrs Run

TURA: Governor of Meghalaya, Ganga Prasad will be making his maiden visit to Garo Hills this week and will be flagging off a marathon from Chandmari field to commemorate the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Tuesday morning.
The “Run for Martyrs” marathon, organized by the district administration, will commence from 6:30am onwards. It will start from Chandmari field and end at the Dikki Bandi stadium in Dakopgre. Students and elders alike have been invited to participate in the marathon for which attractive prizes will be given.
