Three die in fatal road mishaps

SHILLONG: Three people have died in road related accidents across the state in the last couple of days.
On January 29 around 4 pm, one truck knocked down Stinly Syiemlieh at Khynkba NH-44E in West Khasi Hils. The truck fled and the victim died on the spot.
Earlier on January 26, one Tata Sumo collided with one Mahindra Bolero camper (ML-08B-6767) near Chisobibra in East Garo Hills and fled. The two occupants of the Bolero camper Tangson R. Marak and Piljin Sangma died on the spot while other occupants sustained injuries.
